Ziba Zakeri works as a Research and Development Specialist at Zetamatrix, Inc. She received her Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry respectively from Azerbaijan Shahid Madani University (2022) and Tabriz University (2015) in Tabriz, Iran. Her research focused on the synthesis of polymeric composite biomaterials for tissue engineering application of small-diameter vascular grafts. She also participated in the projects of National Institute for Medical Research Development of Iran (NIMAD) on covalent immobilization of ECM proteins on electrospun POSS/PCUU mats for small-diameter vascular grafts. Currently, Ziba is completing her post-doctoral appointment at Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey. Drug delivery using micro-needling technology of 3D printable hydrogels containing various nanoparticles is the topic of her recent studies.
