Serap Fide Azap works as a Research and Development Engineer at ZetaMatrix, Inc. She has a bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Yildiz Technical University. She has been studied at the Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal in Biotechnology with Erasmus+ Exchange Programme. She focused on drug loaded nanoparticle synthesis and characterization during her B.Sc. and participated in project about stem cell therapies for diabetic wounds.  She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Medical Biotechnology at Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University. During her MSc study, she has specifically focused on “Cornea tissue engineering with using polymeric scaffolds and stem cells”. She also participated in the TUBITAK (Science & Technology Council of TURKEY) projects on the synthesis and characterization of polymeric biomaterials for tissue engineering application for vascular tissue engineering.  She was supported by TUBITAK 1001 and 2210/C National MSc/MA Scholarship Program in the Priority Fields in Science and Technology with a scholarship.
