GelMA is a natural extracellular matrix mimicking material can be produced via chemical reaction between Gelatin and methacrylic anhydride (MA). Gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) is “Gold Standart” for wide range of bioprinting applications. The widespread use of GelMA hydrogels in the biomedical field is due to their unique biological properties that enable excellent attachment and proliferation of various cell types.
Zetamatrix GelMA (gelatin-methacrylate) is a semi-synthetic hydrogel which consists of gelatin derivatized with methacrylate groups. These hydrogels provide cells with an optimal biological environment and can be photo-crosslinked, which provides shape fidelity and stability at the physiological temperature.
