Gelatin Methacrylate (GELMA) is a photocrosslinkable bioink to create natural 3D cell scaffolds. Our GELMA bioink product comes as a lyophilizied powder or sterile diluted solution ready to use.
When mixed with water-soluble photoinitiators such as Irgacure 2959 and LAP, GELMA can be photopolymerized with UV light (365 nm wavelength) or visible light (405 nm wavelength) to form cross-linked hydrogels. The hardness of the hydrogels can be adjusted by adjusting the GELMA concentration and light exposure conditions.
